Nevada is an interesting place. I recently explored and photographed a few more of the many ghost towns scattered across the state. After the 49ers had picked all the easy-to-find placer gold from California’s streams, many of the prospectors headed east with a pick and shovel on a burro to get rich in Nevada. My plan for my late autumn trip was to photograph ghost towns and abandoned remote mines on a loop trip around Northern Nevada.
